Methods used to recover waste heat without affecting fuel-air ratios in the combustion zone of an operating boiler are presented. Some of the common technical problems that arise when systems are designed and installed are dealt with. Two viable arrangements of installations are described, where waste gases are at sufficient pressure to overcome pressure loss. Also presented are three waste heat recovery system arrangements.
