Brazing processes and diffusion and solid-state bonding methods for graphite, molybdenum, niobium, tantalum, and tungsten are summarized. Properties which are impontant in aerospace applications are discussed. Typical filler metals used to join the refractory materials for lowtemperature as well as high- temperature service conditions are covered.
