Data from single material (water, aluminum, iron, lead, hevimet, and uranium) measurements using cobalt and cesium sources were reduced to buildup faetors for comparison with moments method calculations of dose buildup factors. Disagreement between measured and theoretical buildup was observed, but it was decided that the amount of existing data is insufficient to justify any firm conclusions. Additional specified measurements were requested. (auth)
