Title: Vapor phase vibrational spectra for Re{sub 2}O{sub 7} and the infrared spectrum of gaseous HReO{sub 4}. Molecular shapes of Mn{sub 2}O{sub 4}. Molecular shapes of Mn{sub 2}O{sub 7}, Tc{sub 2}O{sub 7}, and Re{sub 2}O{sub 7}

Abstract

The authors discuss the structure of Mn{sub 2}O{sub 7}, Tc{sub 2}O{sub 7}, and Re{sub 2}O{sub 7} based on the results of Raman and IR absorption spectra reported previously or in this work (Re{sub 2}O{sub 7}). Mathematical models of the vibrational spectra were invoked in the structural interpretations.
