Title: THE CHARGE ASYMMETRY OF THE DEUTERON AND NUCLEAR STRIPPING REACTIONS

Abstract

The polarization of deuterons in the Coulomb field of the target nucleus is included in the stripping theory. An expression for the differential cross section is derived. The results are obtained by the plane-wave Born approximation under assumptions that lead to the Butler theory. (auth)
