THE FAST NEUTRON DOSE RESPONSE OF TWO ORGANIC PHOSPHORS AND THEIR POSSIBLE USE FOR DOSIMETRY
Abstract
Using the results of Monte Carlo calculations on the response of two organic phosphors to fast neutrons, the possibility of using the phosphors for fast neutron dosimetry is examined. The effect on their response of decay time discrimination against gamma rays is also considered. Stilbene and de- oxygenated liquid phosphor, Ne 213, are discussed. (auth)
