Title: THE DIFFUSION OF LITHIUM IN ALUMINUM

Abstract

Aluminum -LiAl diffusion couples were studied to determine the diffusion of lithium in aluminum at various temperatures. The values for the activation energy, E, and the diffusion factor, D/sub o/, were found to be 33.3 kcal/mole and 4.5 cm/sup 2//sec, respectively. (auth)
