PHASE LOCK OF CAVITIES
Technical Report
·
OSTI ID:4674715
The transmission line properties required to minimize the phase shift between accelerator cavities connected by transmission lines are mathematically analyzed by treating the cavities as lumped circuits. Making the load conductance small reduces the phase shift caused by detuning and lowers the maximum voltage that occurs on the line when the cavity is detuned. (D.C.W.)
