Status report on the WR-1 reactor and plans for its use in the AECL Research and Development Program

The WR-1 reactor, now under construction at the Whiteshell Nuclear Research Establishment in Winnipeg, has been described elsewhere. In this paper, any changes in the design will be noted and a status report on construction will be given. More important, this paper will discuss the potential of this reactor in the future Canadian program.
