RADIOACTIVE ISOTOPE FUELED THERMO-ELECTRIC GENERATORS FOR SPACE MISSIONS (Thesis)
Technical Report
·
OSTI ID:4618121
The objective of the thesis is a critical comparison of the performance of the radio isotope thermoelectric (RTE) generator with that of the solar cell generator. The comparison is based on two design studies: a brief one on the solar cell power supply, using performance data from existing systems and a more detailed study on the RTE.
