A molecular model incorporating surfactant molecular structure, surfactant composition, and solution conditions is described for mixed micellization for aqueous solutions containing binary surfactant mixtures. Micellization free energies, optimum equilibrium values and micellar shape are used to create a molecular thermodynamic formulation to predict various mixed micellar solution properties which ultimately compare favorably with experimental data. 29 refs., 10 figs., 2 tabs.
