Direct measurement of the reaction CH{sub 3} + OH at ambient temperature in the pressure range 0.3-6.2 mbar

In the reaction CH{sub 3} + OH yields CH{sub 3}OH(1a) at 0.3-6.2 mbar at 300K, rate coefficients were measured and were in accord with those obtained by Hochanadel et. al... The experimental falloff curve (k{sub 1a}) is also determined, along with an upper limit for the rate coefficient k{sub 1d}. 21 refs., 6 figs., 3 tabs.
