Size-selective Raman spectra of the N{sub 2} moieties in benzene-(N{sub 2}){sub n} clusters (n = 1-32) have been measured by mass-selective ionization-loss stimulated Raman spectroscopy. The evolution of the spectra is interpreted in terms of the structure of the solvent N{sub 2} species about the benzene solute. 27 refs., 1 fig.
