Title: State of atoms and interactomic interactions in complex perovskite-like oxides. IV. Spin state of Nickel(III) atoms in LaCa{sub 0.5}Sr{sub 0.5}Ni{sub x}Al{sub 1{minus}x}O{sub 4} solid solutions

Abstract

Study of magnetic properties of nickel(III) atoms in complex oxides with layered structure has shown that introduction of an element with high polarizing power into the sublattice of a heavy metal (in this case, substitution of calcium for half the quantity of strontium atoms) results in increased aggregation of the paramagnetic atoms in the solid solution. 9 refs., 2 figs., 1 tab.
