Expressions were obtained for the theoretical forms of the Doppler shift of gamma lines for recoil nuclei. These expressions were used for carrying out a series of systematic calculations on the effect of different parameters on the forms of these lines and on the errors of the lifetimes determined as a result of the comparison of experimertal and theoretical forms of the gamma lines.
