Title: HEAVY ELEMENTS RESEARCH NOTES BASED ON A SERIES OF LECTURES DELIVERED AT THE NOBEL INSTITUTE FOR PHYSICS, STOCKHOLM, SPRING, 1953

Abstract

Lectures are included on pile and accelerator production of transuranium nuclides, the systematics of alpha decay, and the chemistry of the heaviest elements. The chemistry lecture is given only in outline form with literature references. A table of gamma (y) for alpha decay rate calculations is included in an appendix. (M.H.R.)
