A multiple operation remote-controlled machine for nuclear applications is described. It can loosen, unscrew, weld, and screw radioactive materials and objects. It consists of a plate on which are fixed a rotating pan with movable jaws, a turret with a tool holder for the different operations, and a column with a vertically moving slide. The monoreducer group for the pan is arranged under the plate. The mechanical transmission for the advance and retreat of the tool holder and the slide and the linking for the vacuum pump and gases is attached to the plate. A removable glass cover is over the plate. (tr-auth)
