Digital simulation in radiography for density control of inhomogeneous materials (in Russian)
A digital simulation method is proposed for the investigation of the distribution of density along a sample by radiography. By means of the proposed model developed on the M-20 computer, the characteristics of the density of ingots of cement concrete are examined. From a comparison of the curves obtained bv means of the digital model and of cement concrete samples it is concluded that in real concrete the distribution of coarse fillers in the sample conforms to the approximations obtained with the digital model. The use of the digital simulation method makes it possible to use the theory of random functions for the study of inhomogeneous structures and to give a mathematical model for the distribution of the density of coarse fillers in cement concrete.
