A recent experimental measurement of the ChapmanJouguet isentrope of the solid explosive Composition B., together with the experimental detonation velocitv vs. initial density curve, gives considerable information about the equation of stute of the detonation products. With the all of some thermodynamio assumptions, a simple explicit form is obtuined for the energy as a function of pressure and volume. (nuth)
