Title: RADIATION FIN EFFICIENCY FOR ONE-DIMENSIONAL HEAT FLOW IN A CIRCULAR FIN

Abstract

The equations governing the temperature distribution and fin efficiencies for a nonlinear heat transfer and curves relating the fin efficiency to the dimensionless independent variables are presented. A comparison of the fin efficiencies for convective linear heat transfer data with those calculated for non linear radiation heat transfer is given.
