Title: THE TIN(II) REDUCTION OF METHYL ORANGE

Abstract

The reaction between Sn/sup 2+/ and methyl orange was found to be first order in Sn/sup 2+/ and first order in methyl orange in the presence of chloride at all concentrations. The reduction rates of methyl orange for SnCl/sub 2/ complexes were calculated. (C. J. G.)
