The Compton incoherent scattering functions for Li, Li/sup +, Be, Na, Na/ sup +/, Al/sup +/, Al/sup 3+/, K/sup +/, C1/sup -/, Ca, Ca/sup +/, an d Ca/sup 22+/ were calculated using Hantree-Fock self-consistent-field wave functions. As was found earlier, the exchange terms in the Waller-Hantree expression are of considerable importance for obtaining accurate values of the incoherent scattering intensities. Comparison is made with earlier calculations and with the experiments of Laval on KC1, and Cribier on CaF/sub 2/. (auth)
