Title: An interpretation of certain ionospheric motions in terms of atmospheric waves

Journal Article · · Journal of Geophysical Research

Internal atmospheric waves, subject to gravitational and compressional forces, have characteristics in close accord with measurements of ionospheric motions revealed by meteor trails. A currelation of the ionospheric motions tn terms of atmospheric waves is presented.
