X-ray studies of thin (50 to 5 mu ) cold-rolled strips of Fe-- Ni (48%) show that the maximum deformation intensity is reached at approximately 99.0% orientation at (110) STA11-bar2! + (110) STA33-bar5, with clear-cut cubic recrystallization (110) STA001! texture observed after annealing. An increased deformation leads to transitions from (110) STA1-bar12! + (110) STA33-bar5! orientations to (112)STA111-bar! and to weakening and destruction of recrystallization texture. (tr-auth)
