A PRELIMINARY INVESTIGATION OF THE CHROMATOGRAPHIC SEPARATION OF ORGAN- METALLIC COMPLEXES ON COLUMNS OF ACTIVATED CELLULOSE PULP

OSTI ID:4163622
Preliminary investigations of metallic complex separation by chromatography are presented. Complexing agents such as dithiozone, cupferron, and sodium diethyldithiocarbamate are considered using columns of activated cellulose pulp. It was found that efficience of abssrption and separation of the complexes depends on the mode of activation and on the pH of aqueous pulp extracts. Experimental procedures are described and data are tabulated. (J.R.D.)
