This report is a compendium of selected time-series data describing the transportation, production, processing, and consumption of energy. It contains such items as the revenues and expenses of oil pipeline companies, number and capacities of U.S. tank ships, and the total crude oil transported in the U.S. by method of transportation; growth over time of the U.S. oil and natural gas reserves, refinery capacity, and yields; and trends in the demand for fuel and power. -
Gas turbine electric plant construction cost and annual production expenses 1975: Third annual supplement. Energy data report
A total of 520 gas turbine electric plants owned and operated by electric utilities in the United States produced 22.436 billion kilowatt-hours during 1975, down from the net 1974 production of 32.114 billion kWh. The installed capacity of these gas turbine electric plants at the end of 1975 was 44,106 megawatts, up 11.6% from the 39,522 MW in 1974. This supplement presents detailed data for 1975 on plant investment, annual production expenses, and related information for 349 of those plants 10 MW or larger for which information was available.
