Title: Summary of current radiation dose estimates to humans from $sup 123$I, $sup 124$I, $sup 126$I, $sup 130$I, and $sup 131$I as sodium rose bengal

Abstract

Estimated absorbed doses to human gall bladder, gastrointestinal tract, liver, ovaries, bone marrow, and testes from $sup 123$I, $sup 124$I, $sup 126$I, $sup 130$I, and $sup 131$I after a single intravenous administration as sodium rose bengal are summarized. The greatest uncertainty in these dose estimates is due to the variability in time for the movement of radioiodine through the biliary tract, gall bladder, and gastrointestinal tract. (ERB)
