Title: OBSERVATION OF DAMAGE REGIONS IN n-TYPE GERMANIUM BY MEANS OF A CHEMICAL ETCH

Abstract

An attempt was made to observe radiation damage regions in n-type germanium by means of chemical etches. The crystals were irradiated with 14-Mev neutrons with an integrated flux of 5 x 10/sup 12/ n cm/sup -2/. Enriched CP-4 etch was used and electron micrographs of the etches are shown. (C.E.S.)
