Experiments on Angular Distribution in the Transfer Reactions with Ne$sup 20$ and A$sup 40$ Ions; NEKOTORYE EKSPERIMENTY PO UGLOVOMU RASPREDELENIYU REAKTSIYAKH PEREDACHI S IONAMI Ne$sup 20$ I A$sup 4$$sup 0$
A gamma-spectroscopy method was applied for investigating the angular distributions of the multinucleon transfer reactions in the interaction of complex nuclei. The end reaction products were identified both by characteristic gamma rays and the haif life. To separate the end products of the transfer reaction from those of the compound nucleus decay a ring-shaped catcher foil consisting of three foils, one aluminum and two gold ones, was used. The angular distributions were obtained for the stripping and pick-up reactions (Ne/sup 20/, F/sup 18/), (Ne/sup 20/, Na/sup 24/), and (Ne/sup 20/, Na/sup 22/). As a target Cu/sup 63/, Cu/sup 65/, Rh/sup 103/, Ta/sup 181/, Au/sup 197/, and U /sup 238/ were used. In bombarding Au/sup 197/ target with Ar/sup 40/ ions, there were observed the angular distributions for the reactions (Ar/sup 40/, Cl/sup 39/), (Ar/sup 40/, S/sup 38/), (Ar/sup 40/, Ar/sup 41/ ), an d (Ar/sup 40/, K/sup 43/). The angular distributions obtained point to a strong dependenice on Z of the target nucleus, on the type of reaction, and on the number of particles transferred. An attempt is made to interpret the obtained results by two mechanisms of the transfer reactions. (auth)
