Utilization of nuclear power for department of defense installations

A study on the economic and environmental considerations of using small nuclear power plants at Dept. of Defense installations is described. The applications considered included electric power generation, process energy, or a combination of both. Preliminary results indicate that nuclear plants may offer an economical alternative to fossil fueled plants. (JWR)
