The angular distribution of 14.7 Mev neutrons inelastically scattered by a Fe target was measured by the time-of-flight technique. The energy bias of the neutron detector was 4 Mev. The results showed that the high energy neutrons come out from direct reaction, while the low energy neutrons seem to be due to an evaporation process. An attempt was made to calculate the energy dependence of the inverse cross section. (auth)
