BS>It is noted that the chief potential radiological hazards posed by radiostrontium are direct external radiation exposures, and internal radiation exposures as a consequence of ingestion and inhalation. The conclusions to be derived from the analysis are that containment for the strontium titanate is maintained under all credible accidents and that the relative insolubility of the fuel minimizes internal exposure even if it is released to the biosphere under incredible circumstances.
