Title: Surface hardening of steel by laser and electron beam. (Latest citations from Metadex). Published Search

Abstract

The bibliography contains citations concerning electron beam hardening of steels and alloys. Among the materials surface hardened are carbon and alloy steels, aircraft spur gears, nitrocarburized steel, turbine blades, titanium-carbon steel, titanium, and rolling bearings. Effect of transformation plasticity on residual stress fields in laser surface hardening treatment is also examined.(Contains 50-250 citations and includes a subject term index and title list.)
