Photonic decay widths of some heavy pseudoscalar mesons

The photonic decays of the heavy pseudoscalar mesons {ital B}{sub {ital L}},{ital B}{sub {ital sL}}, and {ital D}{sub {ital L}} are studied in the single loop quark model. The contribution to the two {gamma} decays of the heavy pseudoscalar mesons are computed in the standard model as a function of the quark mass. It is interesting to note the equality of the order for the two {gamma} decay amplitudes of {ital B}{sub {ital L}},{ital B}{sub {ital sL}}, and {ital D}{sub {ital L}}. {copyright} {ital 1996 The American Physical Society.}
