This paper describes new measurements from CLEO of the inclusive {ital B}{r_arrow}{ital D}{sub {ital s}}{sup +}{ital X} branching fraction as well as the {ital B}{sup +}{r_arrow}{ital D}{sub {ital s}}{sup ({asterisk})+}{bar {ital D}}{sup ({asterisk})0} and {ital B}{sup 0}{r_arrow}{ital D}{sub {ital s}}{sup ({asterisk})+}{ital D}{sup ({asterisk}){minus}} branching fractions. The inclusive branching fraction is {ital B}({ital B}{r_arrow}{ital D}{sub {ital s}}{sup +}{ital X})=(12.11{plus_minus}0.39{plus_minus}0.88{plus_minus}1.38){percent} where the first error is statistical, the second is the systematic error, and the third is the error due to the uncertainty in the {ital D}{sub {ital s}}{sup +}{r_arrow}{phi}{pi}{sup +} branching fraction. The branching fractions for the {ital B}{r_arrow}{ital D}{sub {ital s}}{sup ({asterisk})+}{bar {ital D}}{sup ({asterisk})} modes are found to be between 0.9{percent} and 2.4{percent} and are significantly more precise than previous measurements. The sum of the {ital B}{r_arrow}{ital D}{sub {ital s}}{sup ({asterisk})+}{bar {ital D}}{sup ({asterisk})} branching fractions is consistent with the results of fits to the inclusive {ital D}{sub {ital s}}{sup +} momentum spectrum. Factorization is used to arrive at a value for {ital f}{sub {ital D}{sub {ital s}}}, the {ital D}{sub {ital s}}{sup +} decay constant. {copyright} {ital 1996 The American Physical Society.}
