Xenon oscillations in large PWRs can be controlled quite easily by monitoring on a display and using the characteristics of a trajectory generated from three-axial offsets, namely AOp, AOi and AOx. In other words, xenon oscillations can be eliminated when the plot of the trajectory is led to the origin in the X-Y plane. Making use of the simplicity of the control concept, it is expected that automatic control logics can also be constructed easily. The results of the study on the automatic control logics are discussed.
