Title: Correlation between the acidic and catalytic properties of H-SVK zeolites in the aromatization of C{sub 6}-C{sub 8} hydrocarbons

Abstract

A study has been made of the aromatization of C{sub 6}-C{sub 8}, n-alkanes and cyclohexane in the presence of H-SVK zeolites. It has been established that modification by increasing the Si/Al ratio or introducing Pt, Ni and Zn increases the ratio of Lewis and Broensted acid centres, which promotes an increase in the selectivity of direct aromatization reactions leading to the formation of arenes with a number of carbon atoms corresponding to the initial hydrocarbons. 7 refs., 4 figs., 2 tabs.
