Title: Synchronizing-Cone Blanks with a Sprayed Steel Coating for Vehicle Transmissions

Abstract

Blanks for synchronizing cones with a sprayed steel coating that are capable of operating in oil within vehicle transmissions are considered. A plasma-spraying method is developed for the manufacture of such components.
