Title: On the fractional Harry Dym equation

Abstract

We present and discuss the general case of a fractional nonlinear partial differential equation using similarity reductions and recover results associated with Harry Dym-type equations. Particular cases are discussed and some plots illustrate the results. The fractional derivative is considered in the Caputo sense.
