On Dbrane anti Dbrane effective actions and their all order bulk singularity structures
Abstract
All four point functions of brane anti brane system including their correct all order α{sup ′} corrections have been addressed. All five point functions of one closed string RamondRamond (RR), two real tachyons and either one gauge field or the scalar field in both symmetric and asymmetric pictures have also been explored. The entire analysis of is carried out. Not only does it fix the vertex operator of RR in asymmetric picture and in higher point functions of string theory amplitudes but also it confirms the fact that there is no issue of picture dependence of the mixed closed RR, gauge fields, tachyons and fermion fields in all symmetric or anti symmetric ones. We compute Smatrix in the presence of a transverse scalar field, two real tachyons and that reveals two different kinds of bulk singularity structures, involving an infinite number of uchannel gauge field and (u+s{sup ′}+t{sup ′})channel scalar bulk poles. In order to produce all those bulk singularity structures, we define various couplings at the level of the effective field theory that involve the mixing term of ChernSimons coupling (with Cpotential field) and a covariant derivative of the scalar field that comes from the pullback of brane. Based on a four point function, the Smatrix elements at disk level of the scattering amplitude of one closed string RamondRamond field (C) and two tachyons and one scalar field, we find out new couplings in brane anti brane effective actions for p = n, p+2 = n cases. Using the infinite corrections of the vertex of one RR, one gauge and one scalar field and applying the correct expansion, it is investigated in detail how we produce the infinite gauge poles of the amplitude for p = n case. Largeorder perturbation theory and de Sitter/antide Sitter effective actions
We analyze the largeorder behavior of the perturbative weakfield expansion of the effective Lagrangian density of a massive scalar in de Sitter and antide Sitter space, and show that this perturbative information is not sufficient to describe the nonperturbative behavior of these theories, in contrast to the analogous situation for the EulerHeisenberg effective Lagrangian density for charged scalars in constant electric and magnetic background fields. Conformal symmetry of brane world effective actions
A simple derivation of the lowenergy effective action for brane worlds is given, highlighting the role of conformal invariance. We show how to improve the effective action for a positive and negativetension brane pair using the AdS/CFT correspondence. 
Induced curvature in brane worlds by surface terms in string effective actions with highercurvature corrections
In stringinspired effective actions, representing the lowenergy bulk dynamics of brane/string theories, the highercurvature ghostfree GaussBonnet combination is obtained by local field redefinitions which leave the (perturbative) string amplitudes invariant. We show that such redefinitions lead to surface terms which induce curvature on the brane world boundary of the bulk spacetime. 
Comparing S duality to string/(D{minus}5)brane duality on actions
We realize the string/(D{minus}5)brane duality on the action at the classical level between the T{sup 10{minus}D}compactified heterotic string effective action and the (D{minus}5)brane effective action in D dimensions by managing a Lagrange multiplier field.
