Abstract

ZnO films have been grown via a vapour phase transport (VPT) on soda lime glass (SLG) and indium-tin oxide (ITO) coated glass. ZnO film on ITO had traces of Zn and C which gives them a dark appearance while that appears yellowish-white on SLG. X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy studies confirm the traces of C in the form of C-O. The photoluminescence studies reveal a prominent green luminescence band for ZnO film on ITO.

Indium and tin salt-based precursors maintaining In:Sn atomic ratio as 90:10 were utilized for the development of sol-gel dip coated indium tin oxide films (ITO) on SiO{sub 2} coated ({approx} 200 nm thickness) soda lime silica glass substrate. Analysis of Potential-Induced Degradation in Soda-Lime Glass and Borosilicate-Glass Cu(In,Ga)Se ₂ Samples

In this study, potential-induced degradation (PID) is investigated in small-size Cu(In,Ga)Se ₂ (CIGS) submodules of individual cells. Samples with conventional soda-lime glass (SLG) and low-alkaline glass (borosilicate glass, BSG) were analyzed applying positive and negative 1000 V bias at 85 degrees C and low relative humidity after a heat-soaking phase. During the heat-soaking phase, BSG samples showed degradation, with variations in their dark current-voltage (I-V) curve parameters compared with the stability of SLG samples. Transparent, conductive indium-tin oxide (ITO) and tin oxide thin films were deposited on soda-lime-silicate (SLS) float glass and silica glass substrates by an RF aerosol plasma technique in an atmospheric environment. The ITO films were deposited from solutions with various In:Sn ratios. The dependence of the film properties on the substrate temperature, deposition time, and tin concentration has been studied. Indium tin oxide (ITO) thin films have been grown onto soda-lime glass substrates by sputtering at room temperature with various oxygen to argon partial pressure ratios. After deposition, the samples have been annealed at temperatures ranging from 100 to 500 degree sign C in nitrogen or in air. The structure, optical, and electrical characteristics of the ITO coatings have been analyzed as a function of the deposition and the annealing parameters by x-ray diffraction, spectrophotometry, and Hall effect measurements. Atmospheric RF plasma coating of indium and tin oxide films

Indium tin oxide (ITO) thin films on soda-lime-silicate (SLS) and silica glasses were fabricated using an RF plasma mist deposition process. SEM analysis showed that the ITO films consisted of uniform particle size with a size ranging from 50 to 200 nm. XRD revealed that In{sub 2}O{sub 3} phase is present in the film when In : Sn ratio is 5 : 5 and higher. The resistivity of the ITO films was between 1--10 ohm-cm.
