Title: High-K spin-traps in the valley of stability

Abstract

Rotational bands based on very long-lived K-isomers in the stable hafnium isotopes {sup 177,178,179}Hf have been studied with time-correlated particle-{gamma}-{gamma} techniques. Some physics highlights, and future possibiblities, will be discussed.
