In this paper we discuss preliminary measurements of antiproton production in 11.5 A GeV/c Au+Pb nucleus collisions in Experiment 864 at the Brookhaven AGS. By comparing the E864 measurements with those of Experiment 878, we can infer the production of antihyperons in these collisions via the 'feed-down' contribution of antiprotons from the decay of the antihyperon. This comparison indicates that the production of strange antibaryons is greatly enhanced, and presents significant challenges for thermal and transport models of heavy-ion collisions.
