Scalar form factor of the nucleon and nucleon-scalar meson coupling constant in QCD
Abstract
Scalar form factor of the nucleon is calculated in the framework of light-cone QCD sum rules, using the most general form of the baryon current. Using the result on scalar form factor of the nucleon, the nucleon-scalar {sigma} and a{sub 0} meson coupling constants are estimated. Our results on these couplings are in good agreement with the prediction of the external-field QCD sum rules method.

Induced pseudoscalar form factor of the nucleon and its effect on the form factor of. pi. N coupling
Experimental data on the induced pseudoscalar nucleon form factor are analyzed and the rms pionic radius of the nucleon is determined. This radius is shown to be larger than the rms axial radius of the nucleon. -
DETERMINATION OF THE MESON-NUCLEON COUPLING CONSTANT FROM NUCLEON-NUCLEON SCATTERING
The results presented show that smoothed experimental data, as represented by a phenomenological potential, support Chew's hypothesis on the mesonnucleon coupling constant from nucleon-nucleon scattering. (C.J.G.) -
Nucleon-meson vertex structure in the nonrelativistic quark model II. The nucleon-meson coupling constants and form factors
On the basis of the nonrelativistic quark model, the nucleon-meson vertex coupling constants and the form factors are discussed by using the one-gluon-exchange transition potential with the production of a quark-antiquark pair which is formed from quark-gluon interaction. The nucleon-meson coupling constants, which are obtained by using the generator-coordinate method, can fit the experimental data quite well. The contribution of the quark-momentum-dependent term in the transition potential to coupling constants is important. The nucleon-meson vertex form factors are also given and discussed.
