Comment on 'Generalized Smolin states and their properties'

We considered a scenario recently suggested by Augusiak and Horodecki [Phys. Rev. A 73, 012318 (2006)], which used Smolin bound entangled states to share secrets. It is shown that a dishonest party can fully access secret information by an intercept-resend strategy without being detected.
