Title: Electric supply options in a world driven by CO{sub 2} emission policies

Abstract

Portfolio analysis borrowed from finance illustrates investors' need to reduce the uncertainty of nuclear, coal and wind technologies. To manage these risks, the article proposes a new deal between government and the private sector that bridges the gap between investment realities and CO{sub 2} emission reduction goals. (author)
