NonAbelian EinsteinBornInfelddilaton cosmology
Abstract
The nonAbelian EinsteinBornInfelddilaton theory, which rules the dynamics of tensorscalar gravitation coupled to a su(2)valued gauge field ruled by BornInfeld Lagrangian, is studied in a cosmological framework. The microscopic energy exchange between the gauge field and the dilaton which results from a nonuniversality of the coupling to gravity modifies the usual behavior of tensorscalar theories coupled to matter fluids. General cosmological evolutions are derived for different couplings to gravitation and a comparison to universal coupling is highlighted. Evidences of cosmic acceleration are presented when the evolution is interpreted in the Jordan physical frame of a matter respecting the weak equivalence principle. The importance for the mechanism of cosmic acceleration of the dynamics of the BornInfeld gauge field, the attraction role of the matter fluid, and the nonuniversality of the gravitational couplings are briefly outlined.

We investigate the Bianchi I cosmology with the homogeneous SU(2) YangMills field governed by the nonAbelian BornInfeld action. A similar system with the standard EinsteinYangMills (EYM) action is known to exhibit chaotic behavior induced by the YangMills field. When the action is replaced by the BornInfeldtype nonAbelian action (NBI), the chaosorder transition is observed in the highenergy region. This is interpreted as a smothering effect due to (nonperturbative in {alpha}{sup '}) string corrections to the classical EYM action. We give numerical evidence for the chaosorder transition and present an analytical proof of regularity of color oscillations in the limit ofmore »

New Features about Chaos in Bianchi I nonAbelian BornInfeld cosmology
When the action is replaced by the BornInfeldtype nonAbelian action (NBI), a chaosorder transition is observed in the high energy region for a Bianchi I cosmology with the homogeneous SU(2) YangMills field. This is interpreted as a smothering effect due to (nonperturbative in {alpha}') string corrections to the classical EYM action. We give a numerical evidence for the chaosorder transition and present an analytical proof of regularity of color oscillations in the limit of strong BornInfeld nonlinearity.
EinsteinBornInfelddilaton black holes in nonasymptotically flat spacetimes
We derive exact magnetically charged, static, and spherically symmetric black hole solutions of the fourdimensional EinsteinBornInfelddilaton gravity. These solutions are neither asymptotically flat nor (anti)de Sitter. The properties of the solutions are discussed. It is shown that the black holes are stable against linear radial perturbations.
Asymptotically nonflat EinsteinBornInfelddilaton black holes with Liouvilletype potential
We construct some classes of electrically charged, static and spherically symmetric black hole solutions of the fourdimensional EinsteinBornInfelddilaton gravity in the absence and presence of Liouvilletype potential for the dilaton field and investigate their properties. These solutions are neither asymptotically flat nor (anti)de Sitter. We show that in the presence of the Liouvilletype potential, there exist two classes of solutions. We also compute temperature, entropy, charge and mass of the black hole solutions, and find that these quantities satisfy the first law of thermodynamics. We find that in order to fully satisfy all the field equations consistently, there must bemore »
Thermodynamics of black holes in (n+1)dimensional EinsteinBornInfelddilaton gravity
We construct a new class of (n+1)dimensional (n{>=}3) black hole solutions in EinsteinBornInfelddilaton gravity with Liouvilletype potential for the dilaton field and investigate their properties. These solutions are neither asymptotically flat nor (anti)de Sitter. We find that these solutions can represent black holes, with inner and outer event horizons, an extreme black hole, or a naked singularity provided the parameters of the solutions are chosen suitably. We compute the thermodynamic quantities of the black hole solutions and find that these quantities satisfy the first law of thermodynamics. We also perform a stability analysis and investigate the effect of dilaton onmore »
