Title: CaWingz user`s guide

Abstract

This document assumes that you have read and understood the Wingz user`s manuals. CaWingz is an external Wingz program which, when combined with a set of script files, provides easy-to-use EPICS channel access interface functions for Wingz users. The external function run allows Wingz user to invoke any Unix processor within caWingz. Few additional functions for accessing static database field and monitoring of value change event is available for EPICS users after release 3.11. The functions, script files, and usage are briefly described in this document. The script files supplied here serve as examples only. Users are responsible for generating their own spreadsheet and script files. CaWingz communicates with IOC through channel access function calls.

  • The Reserves Information Gathering System, hereafter referred to as RIGS, is an advanced electronic data entry product developed by the Department of Energy as a more efficient, accurate, and timely alternative for submission of Form EIA-23, ``Annual Survey of Domestic Oil and Gas Reserves`` to the Energy Information Administration (EIA). The benefits of filing Form EIA-23 using RIGS software are multiple. RIGS will significantly reduce your reporting burden by: Eliminating paperwork; providing on-line correction and edit features; automatically prompting for field footnotes; reducing follow-up calls; establishing an historical database for future filings. Error messages are designed to prevent inadvertent entries,more » and help screens and messages answer most on-line questions that may arise. Company and state/subdivision totals can be automatically generated, and print functions are available to produce hard copy of an individual group, and/or total fields reported.« less

    The objective of the Programmer`s Guide for the DMSP SSIES flight data processing software is to provide AFSFC personnel with the information necessary to understand and use the various components of the system. This software has been specifically developed to process the SSIES-2 and SSIES-2A data formats, with provisions for retroactive adaptation to the original SSIES format and future adaptation to the SSIES-3 format. This Programmer`s Guide describes the three programs which constitute the AFSFC SSIES processing system: BNBA, LDCONO2 and APGA. The BNBA program performs data format conversions for the various SSIES telemetry data formats to generate a commonmore » file format for subsequent processing by the APGA program. The LDCONO2 program generates the reference parameter file of satellite and instrument conversion constants and processing options for use by the APGA program. The APGA program performs quality evaluations and analyses of the SSIES telemetry data to create database files and reports of quantities which characterize the ionosphere.« less

  • This volume of the User`s Guide for the Industrial Source Complex (ISC3) Dispersion Model provides user instructions for setting up and running the ISC3 model. The ISC3 User`s Guide has been revised as part of a larger effort to incorporate (1) the numerical integration method for the area source algorithm, (2) a revised dry deposition algorithm, (3) the addition of a wet deposition algorithm, and (4) the addition of a pit retention algorithm.

  • RBDMS (Risk Based Data Management System) is an oil and gas electronic data management system which stems from the idea developed from four previous projects conducted by the American Petroleum Institute (API) and the Ground Water Protection Council (GWPC). The first study studied oil and gas industry injection well corrosion. It included a methodology for assessing the probability of contaminating underground sources of drinking water (USDWs) via Class 2 injection well operations. A feasibility study was conducted to investigate if an electronic data management system could incorporate the methodology. A second feasibility study was conducted to test the methodology onmore » a much small basis. The RBDMS effort then continued through a grant from DOE with a multi-task project consisting of an inventory and needs assessment of 25 oil and gas producing states pertaining to oil and gas production/regulatory activities, state geological/hydrogeological considerations, Class 2 underground injection activities, electronic data management needs and functional requirements, environmental risk assessment and management objectives, resultant benefit of a RBDMS, and various information and data required for the design and development of a RBDMS in individual states.
