SOLPS-ITER modeling of drift effects in DIII-D double-null AT configurations (Final Report)
- Univ. of Washington, Seattle, WA (United States)
At the DIII-D tokamak, our collaborative research program supported divertor development. Specifically, we focused on slot-type divertors called SAS divertors. Modeling of conceptual SAS configurations with SOLPS-ITER, including full drifts, has provided insights that can guide future modeling and experimental research related to tightly baffled slot divertors.
