Title: Recent advances in development of new methods for processing methane and ethane

Abstract

A consideration of the literature data on development of a number of new methods for processing methane and ethane - oxidative condensation of methane into C{sub 2} hydrocarbons, oxidation of methane into methanol, aromatization of ethane and methane, and dehydrogenation of ethane into ethylene - is presented. Possible prerequisites for the commercial implementation of these processes are discussed.
